It’s an annual charitable event that brings together world-renowned speakers, A-list performers, and thousands of young people to ‘celebrate a year of action that has transformed communities and changed lives’.
And Tallia Storm, Katie Piper and Alexandra Burke were just some of the famous faces who offered their support to the WE Day charity concert at London‘s SSE Arena on Wednesday.
Tallia, 19, showed off her washboard abs as she attended the musical showcase, before taking to the stage to perform a number of her hits.

Tallia is currently trying to carve out a career as a singer, and recently released a brand new single titled You Love Me You Care.
Speaking of the new track, which she co-wrote and recorded in Los Angeles, the teen star admitted: ‘I have fallen in love with Latin America and felt I just had to do a song with a Cuban dance influence.’

During her speech Katie spoke about her struggles with body confidence, and coming to terms with her permanent scarring after being attacked by an ex-boyfriend who threw acid in her face.
She said: ‘People saw the scars on my face as a weakness. I was kicked-out of shops, pointed at and made fun of.
‘But the truth is… those scars were more than just skin deep. Those were also emotional scars, and they were proof that I had faced so much and overcome it. My scars made me stronger.’

Lily also spoke at the event about the #MeToo movement, saying her fans should come together to support each other.
She said: ‘For me, writing about my experiences with dating violence and emotional abuse was intimidating at first.
‘But the support I’ve received after coming forward has far exceeded the fear that almost prohibited me from doing it in the first place and made me realise I that was and am still not alone.’

WE Day is an annual event that celebrates the young people who are making a difference in their communities both locally and around the world.
The event is organised by the WE charity, and is supported by Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Atlantic.
The event also saw some royal guests in the form of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, who also spoke about working in the public eye.

WE co-founded Craig Kielburger also spoke about the young people who had helped a vast number of causes across the world, who were honoured at the event.
The event also celebrated International Women’s Day on Thursday with a special performance.
