EMMA BUNTON has spoken out on the Spice Girls reunion, saying it needs to happen soon before the band gets too old.

Spice Girls reunion: Emma Bunton ‘We can’t wait much longer, we’re getting old’

The Spice Girls haven’t performed together since the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony and fans are wondering if it will ever happen again.

Nevertheless Emma teamed up with Geri and Mel B to form

While it looks like any form of a reunion won’t happen anytime soon, Emma has now spoken out about the matter.

The 41-year-old was asked for an update by Fabulous magazine, who is adamant they still want it to happen.

She said: “It’s about finding the perfect time.

“We want to make it right for our fans. But it would be a shame not to do something.

“We’re always talking about it. I think it would be amazing, so I’m on the case and Geri’s the same.

“It would be lovely to show us performing to a whole new generation.”

Emma added: “But we can’t wait too much longer, as we’re all getting on a bit!”

However getting Victoria Beckman and Mel C back might prove hard, since they wouldn’t join what became GEM last year.
