Conspiracy theorists had predicted the total solar eclipse would be the perfect time to witness extra terrestrial activity, and if these videos are to be believed, they were not wrong.
Popular paranormal YouTube channel SecureTeam10 uploaded a video the day after the phenomenon titled ‘STRANGE Happenings During Solar Eclipse’, which shows a range of what they believe is ET activity.
The first clip in the video shows strange lights dancing in the darkened sky over Kansas City, Missouri, hovering in roughly the same location throughout the two minute shot.
Joshua Turner, who captured the video, can be heard in a terrified state behind the camera, exclaiming: “Look, now there’s a whole bunch of them.”
Solar eclipse sees alien activity rise as same lights spotted in cities 1,400 miles apart
The same formation of lights, three in an arrow shape that seem to interact with each other, were spotted over Yakima, Washington 1,400 miles away in the second clip shown in the SecureTeam10 video.
The narrator of the video, Tyler, says: “According to the description of the video posted by Cinema7, it says ‘My girlfriend spotted these lights while we were watching the Solar Eclipse today (8/21/17), so I pulled out my camera to record it. We saw them at 10:23 am, in Yakima, Washington, which was almost exactly when the eclipse was at its max. Super weird!’.”
The lights spotted over Washington were also spotted over Kansas
The third clip in the video shows photographs of a strange unknown object hovering in the sky around the sun.
Tyler said: “This is definitely not a lens flair or anything like that. Whatever this is, it looks to have a clear manufactured or artificial shape to it.
“It’s got surface features, different colours to it and it doesn’t look like your typical drone.
UFOs were spotted across the US
“Apparently other people, who didn’t happen to get videos, but saw the same thing and I got a message from one in Guadalajara, Mexico, who said they saw a very similar object while they were watching the eclipse … so could there be multiples of whatever this object is?”
Some people were quick to corroborate the sightings, with one person commenting beneath the video: “I saw these exact light formations in Portland, Oregon the day before the eclipse. I watched them from the Hawthorne Bridge, there were two shimmering lights JUST like these.”
Another added: “I can confirm from Auburn, Washington that I saw the same weird white lights. My phone camera couldn’t capture them due to poor quality.”
Alien hunters predicted UFO activity during the eclipse
However, others were bot so convinced.
One commenter wrote: “You’re too paranoid. Have you taken your medicine?”
Another simply put: “Aliens don’t exist”.
