This is the moment a slow loris got racy – by taking up pole dancing.
Sarah, a three-year-old male slow loris, is shown swinging from a pole and tap at home in Perm, Russia, where he lives with owner Irina.
The primate lives up to its nocturnal nature by performing a dance long associated with the night-time economy while wearing a nappy.
According to Irina, Sarah’s favourite activity is playing on the pole, which the slow loris’s pincer-like hands and feet make it perfectly adapted for.
The video shows him happily spinning on the pole to slow, atmospheric music.
Pole dancing is Sarah’s favourite hobby according to owner Irina
The slow loris is also shown eating around his house as he takes some down time from dancing
The clip closes with a cuddle in their home, but when in its less domestic habitat in south east Asia the mammal is known for seeing off predators with a toxic bite.
They administer the poison by licking onto the fur of attackers.
