A tearful Paris Hilton told a Los Angeles court on Monday that she had to increase her security and admitted to not trusting iCloud as the hacker who stole her nude photos and $120,000 from her bank accounts was sentenced.
Paytsar Bkhchadzhyan was given five years in prison for targeting Hilton over the course of two years.
The heiress was seen on Monday walking into court where she told reporters: ‘Don’t trust the iCloud.’
In court, Hilton told the judge that it’s ‘very important for me to stand here today and pursue legal action on behalf of myself, my family and anyone who has been targeted with hacking’.

‘Public figure or not, no one should be a target for this crime. I hope that by being here today it brings awareness that this won’t be tolerated and moving forward it doesn’t continue to happen to me or anyone else,’ Hilton said.
Hilton said she felt ‘so upset, hurt and violated’ after learning that someone had stolen her personal details and photos.
Bkhchadzhyan hacked into the hotel heiress’ email accounts and used her card details to book out the Penthouse Suite at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on December 31, 2015, according court documents seen by DailyMail.com.
Just one month later, she accessed two of Hilton’s email accounts, and changed their passwords, locking the 37-year-old out.
While she had control, Bkhchadzhyan contacted Hilton’s assistant and accountant, requesting $80,000 be transferred into an account set up in her own name.
Around the same time, Bkhchadzhyan also accessed Hilton’s iCloud, where she ‘obtained nude photographs of [Hilton] as well as other sensitive and personal information’.
Hilton told the judge that Bkhchadzhyan even started contacting her personally thru text after pretending to be someone else.
She also said the woman threatened that her stolen private photos would be sold to the media and leaked to the public if she didn’t not pay for them.
‘I was told that they were already in talks with reporters and media companies interested,’ Hilton said on Monday.
According to Hilton, Bkhchadzhyan even attempted to pass through her security gate, but her access was denied.
Hilton’s assistant Angie Enos received rude messages from Bkhchadzhyan at the time, demanding she wire her $50,000.
When Enos refused, Bkhchadzhyan then targeted Hilton’s family, asking for the same amount to be wired.

Bkhchadzhyan hacked the emails of Hilton’s father, sister and manager.
‘This woman targeted me in such a way that I will never forget or get over it. I feel so incredibly violated. She took over my life and identity. She tried to shake me up for money. It was all so unbelievable and crazy that it truly seemed like something out of a movie.
Hilton said she was supposed to be out of town but she rescheduled her trip ‘just to be here because I wanted you, your honor, to know and understand just how much this truly affected me and what a serious crime this is’.
‘I want the defendant and any other hackers out their who are planning to target me or anyone else that this is wrong, highly illegal and a serious crime and it will not be tolerated and if they attempt again then they will be punished for their despicable actions,’ she added.
Other documents note Bkhchadzhyan is still in a relationship with suspected Armenian gangster, Sevak Mesrobian, who is currently incarcerated.
The pair have a two-year-old son together, who Bkhchadzhyan called ‘the love of her life’ in her sentencing submission.
Bkhchadzhyan also submitted to the court she had been a drug addict since her early teens, but was attending a rehabilitation program. She signed a guilty plea deal for bank fraud conspiracy in November last year.
