Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wedding details revealed: What time will they get married?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced last year that they would hold their wedding on May 19.

Now Kensington Palace has issued further news on how the couple will plan there big day.

The official social media account for the royal tweeted: “Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle are hugely grateful for the many good wishes they have received since announcing their engagement.”

The couple have used the Twitter account to reveal the time of the ceremony and the location of the reception.

Kensington Palace said: “The wedding service will begin at 12noon at St George’s Chapel.

“The Dean of Windsor will conduct the service and The Archbishop of Canterbury will officiate as the couple make their vows.

“At 1pm the couple, now married, will undertake a Carriage Procession from St George’s Chapel through Windsor Town returning to Windsor Castle along the Long Walk.”

The couple are hoping to get the chance to meet locals on the walk through Windsor, as the have done in various public appearances this year, including in Nottingham and Brixton, South London.

“Following the service, there will be a reception at St George’s Hall for the couple and the guests from the congregation,” Kensington Palace said.

“Later that evening, The Prince of Wales will give a private evening reception for the couple and their close friends and family.”

Much of the smaller details of Meghan and Harry’s wedding has been kept quite, including Meghan Markle’s wedding dress.

Will Meghan Markle become a UK citizen when she marries the fifth-in-line to the British throne?

Harry’s communications secretary has spoken about Meghan’s immigration status, and said she would be “compliant with immigration requirements at all times”.

He continued: “I can also say she intends to become a UK citizen and will go through the process of that, which some of you may know takes a number of years.”

At the moment, it is assumed Meghan is in the UK on a family visa, which lasts up to two and a half years.
