‘The more I became Tonya, the more I saw things from her point of view. I’m on her side 100 percent,’ she said.
But speaking to Good Morning America on Wednesday Margot clarified her comments, arguing she had only meant she understood her.
She explained: ‘But because I play Tonya I’m like 100% on her side the way I’m 100% on Queen Elizabeth’s side and Harley’s side and Daphne’s side. You have to believe what they’re saying is the absolute truth to delivers it with conviction.’
