‘I’m learning that there’s so much more to Instagram and learning where social media and reality starts,’ she said.
‘I think having become a mum, I’ve learned to share the real stuff that’s going on because my life can look so glamorous but it’s just a moment in time.
‘Injury, loss, football seasons, dealing with a one-year-old, sleep deprivation, Poppy doesn’t sleep through the night, she throws up and she has reflux.
‘I spend most of my early days with her strapped to my chest, walking with her around Maroubra like a mad woman but those are the things you don’t see.’
Speaking about her life, the stylish mother said it’s very different from her social media feed

The young family-of-three recently appeared in a candid photoshoot – but Phoebe explained it was very different to what was actually happening behind the scenes
As the wife of a South Sydney Rabbitohs player, the football WAG revealed how she has coped when her husband suffered one of his many injuries on the field.
‘I think we see the clash, the heroics of it… But I was with him for a month when he was eating through a straw after a game,’ she said.
‘So they are the moments of the things I see. He lived on chocolate mousse and quinoa porridge because he couldn’t eat and he couldn’t see out of one eye.
‘It was a really long recovery road. And I also see all the injuries that he has when he goes out to play so I think that’s what’s become harder and harder.
‘Now that I’ve got a daughter, there’s a lot higher stakes for me. It is tough, I do get anxious, I’m not going to lie but it’s also fun, it’s football so we don’t take it too seriously.’
Speaking about her cheeky toddler, Phoebe laughed as she admitted her daughter Poppy ‘rules the roost’.
‘She has my husband’s heart so she could do no wrong in his eyes. She definitely rules our household but I wouldn’t have it any other way – she’s growing up,’ she said.

The young family-of-three recently appeared in a series of candid photographs for Stellar magazine.
And while the pictures show a seemingly ‘perfect family’, Phoebe explained it was very different to what was actually happening behind the scenes.
‘I love my daughter and she’s the light of my life but she was an absolute terror that day,’ Phoebe said as she laughed.
‘So [the photos] looks beautiful, the shots look gorgeous. There’s always something much like Instagram going on behind the scenes.
‘Poppy just had a tantrum so she’s not looking at the camera [in one shot]. So in print, it looks like a beautiful moment like the perfect family.’
