The Black Friday sales are just around the corner and retailers are already starting to slash prices for thousands of products.
Tesco, Argos, Currys and John Lewis are all expected to offer huge discounts on Black Friday, as the Christmas shopping period roars into life.
Black Friday originated in America and always takes place on the day after Thanksgiving.
This year the sales bonanza falls on November 24, though deals are sure to continue until Cyber Monday on November 27.
In previous years, major retailers have closed late on Black Friday to give shoppers more time to enjoy the sales.

What time does Tesco close on Black Friday?
Tesco has not yet announced its Black Friday opening hours, though many of its branches will be open for 24 hours.
Last year the supermarket closed a number of its 24-hour stores at midnight the day before to give employees chance to prepare for the chaos.
Other branches will be opening earlier at 5am to maximise sales, with closing times varying depending on location – check your local Tesco’s opening hours here
Tesco has confirmed it will be holding a week-long sales event between November 20 and November 27, promising some “fantastic Black Friday offers”.
There are also hundreds of Christmas bargains available on Tesco Direct now.

What time does Argos close on Black Friday?
Argos has already started cutting prices on it tech products ahead the big day.
Customers can get hundreds of pounds off 4K televisions, MacBook Pros and Tassimo coffee machines.
Based on last year’s opening hours, Argos stores could open at 7am before closing at about 9pm – check Argos.co.uk for local opening hours.
The Sainsbury’s-owned store promises to hold online orders for seven days if you prefer to avoid the crowds and is offering next-day delivery on items bought before 2pm.
What time does Currys close on Black Friday?
Currys has gained a reputation for offering huge discounts on Black Friday.
Last year the tech giant slashed prices on selected Samsung 4K televisions by as much as £700 and was selling some tablets for less than £30.
Many stores are expected to open between 6am and 8pm – check Currys.co.uk for specific locations.
In 2016, more than half a million people visited the Currys website before 6am, so those who want to avoid the shoulder barging do have another option.
Currys said: “Our shop floors are certain to get pretty crazy this Black Friday so bargain hunters are encouraged to arrive at branches of Currys and PC World nice and early to grab our best Black Friday offers.
“We’ll also be offering plenty of Black Friday deals online so you’ll still be able to grab a bargain or two from the relative serenity of your own home.”

John Lewis joined the Black Friday madness last year, pledging to match their competitors’ lowest prices.
The retailer will be offering discounts on a range of products from furniture to tech.
