Barcelona risk upsetting Lionel Messi: This transfer will be hard to complete

Alcacer has scored just three goals from 18 games for Barcelona since signing from Valencia.

The Spain international’s poor form means he is likely to leave the Nou Camp at the end of the season.

It was reported last month that Lionel Messi had grown frustrated with playing alongside the 23-year-old.

Spanish outlet Diario Gol claims that the Argentina international wants a world-class striker to replace him.

However, Diario Gol also says that Barcelona face a battle to get him off their books.

So bad has Alcacer been top clubs around Europe are unwilling to splash the cash to end his Catalonia catastrophe.

While Messi wants him gone, it may be easier said than done.

The former Valencia striker was once billed as one of the world’s top talents for the future.

But it appears a bad season at Barcelona could derail his promising career.
